Positive: This apartment is just fabulous, especially the roof terrace with the heated pool where we spent a lot of time! The apartment is modern, clean and comfortable and the hosts, Alison and Joseph very helpful and responsive. Marsascala is a great place if you want to be away from the tourist traps with a good selection of restaurants. We used Bolt to get around, including to Valetta and Marsaxlokk and found them very reliable and quick. Highly recommend this fab apartment, although beware of church bells ringing from 6.30am!

Positive: Our flight was earlier than check in but Alison accommodated us by providing the lock box details early ;) Once we were settled, she also popped by to meet us and gave us some really good restaurant and beach recommendations. It was so much appreciated (and they were great!)

Positive: Absolutely amazing place, great support from the owners. We felt welcomed and taken care of. Very nice apartment, clean, and well equiped. We had all we needed for the stay. In addition great location and the perfect mini pool on the roof with the view on Marina. We will definietly revisit if we return to Malta. Highly recommend!

Positive: Property was very clean and furnished well. We loved the pool at the top for a midday dip and sunbathe! Good value for money - myself and two friends enjoyed a girls trip together and would highly recommend booking here if you’re planning to visit Malta. The hosts met us at arrival and showed us around and were easily reachable for contact for any concerns. The sushi place is great nearby for an easy dinner!

Positive: Fantastic location with bus route 2 mins walk from the doorstep making it very easy to day trip to Valletta, Mdina, and onward to Gozo by ferry. This is such a beautiful apartment, clean and well equipped. Pool is just perfect for cooling down with a lovely sun downer overlooking the picturesque harbour and right beside the church - check out the mass times, the service is recommended. Lovely morning walks along the bay swimming in clear blue waters. Absolutely faultless - Alison and Jo are perfect hosts who couldn’t do enough for us. An unforgettable first trip. Thank you so much!! We will visit again soon xx

Positive: The apartment itself was beautiful it comes with a pool and amazing view and an brilliantly refurbished house. Genuinely every facility within the apartment was gorgeous!! It comes equiped with ac, WiFi , a tv, an equipped kitchen with cutlery and/pots and seasoning. However what made our stay the most enjoyable was how genuinely kind the hosts were. They offered to drive us to and from the airport and were there whenever we needed help or assistance with anything- they are life savers!! We had a power outage on our fourth day, however, they had come and flipped the breaker on and even stayed to double check everything was working (keeping in mind this was at around 10 pm/11 pm) and there were no issues and then proceeded to let us know we could call them regardless of time if it happened again! On top of this when we had arrives to the airport one of the hosts and his son explained different areas to visit and recommended beaches and food spots and even told us about the tallinja app and what kind of bus card we should buy if we needed any. In marsakala there is so many nice restaurants that are extremely affordable like Angelina’s who have an amazing seafood risotto! And the convenience stores in the area are extremely affordable and are open till late. The area is a small village however there is so much to do and the people and are lovely! I would definitely recommend staying at Barcaluna if you come Malta it is worth the money!!! We definitely will be coming again <3

Positive: Our stay was amazing the property is well equipped beautiful and has amazing views of the marsaskala port and amazing views of sunrise and sunset. It has a private balcony and a rooftop pool/jacuzzi. Our hosts were the most amazing people ever providing us with everything like towels for beach, information about everything even drove us to get bus cards and to the beach. We are grateful people like that exist. Price was surprisingly cheap for what you get. We highly recommend to everyone!!
